An exception or not? of Puppe’s rule

چکیده

When two fracture lines of a solid surface intersect, it is always possible to tell which one has been made first. In fact, any caused by later impacts are halted prior damage. This well-known principle (which Puppe established in 1903) primarily used glass analysis, but can also be examine skull fractures. It help sequencing and determining blunt force injuries. this context, we report the case 43 years old man, working as an industrial labourer, met with road traffic accident he sustained multiple injuries demised. His autopsy examination revealed exception Puppe’s rule.

Coat/Tether Interactions—Exception or Rule?

Coat complexes are important for cargo selection and vesicle formation. Recent evidence suggests that they may also be involved in vesicle targeting. Tethering factors, which form an initial bridge between vesicles and the target membrane, may bind to coat complexes. In this review, we ask whether these coat/tether interactions share some common mechanisms, or whether they are special adaptatio...

Evolution: An exception that proves the rule

A careful comparative analysis suggests a simple explanation for a category of exceptions to the general correlation between separate sexes in plants -- dioecy -- and self-incompatibility. In some genera, polyploidy causes failure of self-incompatibility, and dioecy may then evolve.

Semaphorin 3E, an exception to the rule.

Class 3 semaphorins (Sema3s) regulate axon guidance, angiogenesis, tumor growth, and tumor metastasis. Neuropilins (NRPs; NRP1 and NRP2) are the cell surface receptors for the Sema3s. However, to signal, interaction of Sema3s and NRPs with plexins is obligatory. In this issue of the JCI, Casazza and colleagues report data that challenge the conventional wisdom about the role of Sema3s in tumor ...

TonB-dependent trans-envelope signalling: the exception or the rule?

TonB-dependent regulatory systems consist of six components, a specialized outer membrane-localized TonB-dependent receptor (TonB-dependent transducer) that interacts with its energizing TonB-ExbBD protein complex, a cytoplasmic membrane-localized anti-sigma factor and an extracytoplasmic function (ECF)-subfamily sigma factor. This sophisticated complex senses signals from outside the bacterial...
